Matt & Katey’s engagement

This is by far one of my favorite engagement sessions I’ve ever done!
Matt and Katey were a joy to photograph, and their are no words that can describe how much in love they are. They are both beautiful from the inside out, and reminded me of what true love looks like.
I actually did this shoot back in July, but just realized today that I had yet to post it on here…so enjoy!

The Nelsons in Central Park

Chris surprised his wife with a trip to NYC and a photoshoot in Central Park for her 30th birthday. They are an adorable couple, and we had a fantastic time walking around the park, so here are a few of my favorites from our adventure.

Simone

While exploring in the east village one night, we stumbled upon the cutest little wine and espresso bar, called Simone.
It was kitschy yet classy and just so much fun.
Although I didn’t take too many pictures, here are a few that may help you get a feel for this place.
Also please not the red plastic ceilings, so so great.

I saw sitting next to my good friend Darrin, and we saw a man walk in who looked exactly like Andy Warhol….much to our dismay we realized it was not in fact the great Andy, but we enjoyed our time there at Simone nonetheless….and here are a few photos of Darrin and me:

Fashion’s Night Out

So back in September, all around the world there was one night stroes being open later in attempt to restore consumer confidence….not to mention there were also quite a few celebrities that came out that night as well.
I actually got a late start on the night because I was helping photograph the HBO launch party for “Bored to Death”…yeah it was pretty cool, and I saw a few famous people , but then after the photoshoot, I was on my way to see the stars-literally.
I didn’t take too many photos from the evening, but here are a couple of my friends and I about to hop on the subway:

Brooklyn Bridge

I have so many photos to post, but I don’t have internet at my dorm or at my art studio right now, so I’m a little behind….so here are a few more photos from just down the street from where I live. Hopefully I can post more photos soon!

Empire State Building

The other night, the fog and clouds mixed with the lights made the Empire State building look like it was on fire!

NYC is absolutely amazing.
I just moved into my art studio, and I have the most amazing view right outside my window.
